Tenant representatives will be involved in producing customer information and would test and approve material produced

Commitments & Promises: Repairs

  • Stafford & Rural Homes will provide a superior responsive repairs service than the Council, with:

    • faster response times
    • appointments for every repair, and
    • in 2007 a new handyman service to do small jobs for older tenants and others with special needs

     
  • Emergency repairs affecting health, safety or security will be responded to within 3 hours
     
  • Urgent repairs such as failures to heating , water or services will be responded to within 3 days
     
  • Important repairs such as repairs that affect the fabric of the building or people's comfort will be responded to within 10 days
     
  • Standard repairs such as fencing repairs or guttering cleaning or repairs will be responded to within 28 days
