Stafford and Rural Homes

• Local tenants and resident groups will receive annual grants to help them operate and give them control over some resources
   
• The existing Tenants' Compact will continue and be improved
   
• Stafford & Rural Homes will work with rural tenants, as a separate tenant group, to tailor services to meet their particular needs
   
• All tenants have the right to apply to become members of the company and are encouraged to do so
   
• From year one a budget of £100,000 is available for Tenant Initiative Schemes. Tenant groups are invited to make bids for projects to benefit their neighbourhoods, with the best proposals selected by a panel, including tenant representatives
   
• Tenant representatives will be involved in producing customer information and would test and approve material produced
