“You've got to be in it to shape it”

The forming of Stafford and Rural Homes as a new housing organisation gave us the opportunity for a whole new approach to customer participation.

In the first year we continued building relationships with the Tenant and Residents Federation, the Sheltered Tenants Alliance, the Quality Design Forum, Tenants groups and all our service steering groups.

We have a new Partnership Agreement with our residents, that commits to what we will do for each other to make resident involvement real and meaningful. Our working group is currently reviewing the agreement to see how we have performed.

Our A to Z Menu of Involvement aims to develop this commitment further and to provide customers with a
comprehensive ‘menu’ of involvement options that allows them to choose when, where and how much involvement they have with SARH.

Board Membership

We want to involve all our customers in ways that suit them. It may be that you just want to receive information from us; you may want to be actively involved in, for example, Estate Walkabouts. You may even want to be a Board Member.

Please help us to help you! Let us know what we are doing well and help us to improve anything that is less well done. We welcome comments on any of our services and will advise customers on changes we make in response to their recommendations.
