Basic Steps

  • Work out what you want to achieve as an association.   It is important to start by taking small steps rather than trying to do everything at once.
  • Work on the things that will help to unite the community.  Attempts should also be made to involve everyone in decision- making as far as possible.
  • Do not expect too much of your members - share jobs out amongst as many people as possible as and when people offer their time and ability.
  • Be positive!  Demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment will help gain results and more recruits.
