Stafford Man imprisoned for breaching Anti-social Behaviour Injunction

David Plant of 51 North Walls, Stafford has been sentenced to 28 days imprisonment for breaching an Injunction ordered by Stafford Crown Court on 12 February 2007
In the original order, following an application by the Neighbourhood Services Team at Stafford and Rural Homes, Mr Plant was forbidden to
1. Use or threatening violence against a named person, residents of, or visitors to North Walls, Stafford, or the claimant’s employees or agents.
2. Contacting or approaching any of the witnesses in this case, or any other member of their family.
3. Playing music or making noise in his property so loudly that it can be heard outside the property at 51 North Walls, Stafford.
4. Engaging in conduct causing or likely to cause a nuisance or annoyance to residents of, visitors to North Walls Stafford or the claimant’s employees or agents.
Reacting quickly to the report made by a person named in the proceedings, in which she alleged that Mr Plant had breached terms of the injunction, .the Neighbourhood Services team contacted the police and the defendant was arrested on 30 August 2007.
In sentencing him to 28 days imprisonment, the Judge told Plant that he had terrified the named person and her young relation, and that if he came before the courts again he could expect to serve a longer prison sentence.
