Stafford and Rural Homes has been hard at work delivering the Improvement and maintenance promises made to tenants at the time of the housing transfer from Stafford Borough Council in February 2006
Work will be starting soon in Rickerscote, Rising Brook, Burton Manor and the Moss Pit areas of Stafford. All tenants have been contacted inviting them to one of our Estate based Strategy events. This will give tenants an opportunity to discuss plans for works to bring their homes up to the government’s “Decent Homes Standard” and beyond.
At these consultation events, tenants will also have the opportunity to meet staff from all housing services. Opportunities to see how to pay their rent or service charges online, follow the stages of a repair from when it is ordered, and be able to talk to staff confidentially if necessary.
This is a real opportunity for tenants to see what is on offer for them in the improvements and see the quality of the goods being fitted in their homes. We hope to see all the tenants who live in the area and involve them in the scheduling of improvements due to begin in the Spring.
If you have any questions about the event or the work to take place, please call
