Stafford & Rural Homes will continue to have four weeks when rent is not payable

Mobile Housing Office – Coming to a village near you

June 23, 2008

Stafford and Rural Homes’ new mobile office is visiting 7 rural villages over the next few weeks, beginning at Memorial Hall in Hixon on Wednesday 02 July 2008. The mobile office going on the road delivers another of the promises made to tenants when the housing stock was transferred from Stafford Borough Council in February 2006.

Customers will be able to:

• report repairs
• apply for housing
• pay rent (by debit or credit card)
• learn how to get involved in shaping our services
• get helpful and detailed advice

….and much more!

This is a chance for customers to meet our friendly Customer Services staff on their doorstep and tell us what services they would like us to provide from our mobile office. The office will be open from 10:00am - 4:00pm, so customers can join us for a coffee and a free goody bag!

All the locations are advertised in our tenant newsletter, and tenants in each area will receive a postcard, both due out shortly. Click to see the postcard for details of locations and dates.

Karen Armitage, Chief Executive of Stafford and Rural Homes, said
“We are delighted to be delivering another major piece of our customer-centred approach to delivering top quality services. The people in our rural communities can be assured that we are committed to serving them all, and our mobile office gives customer access for nearly 1500 tenants in our out of town areas - bringing our services to our customers, as promised”.
