Anti-social Behaviour Orders Granted

September 28, 2006

Full Anti-social behaviour injunctions have been granted on 26 September 2006 for 12 months, against two people resident in the Stafford (North End) area

The threatening and abusive behaviour of the two involved had resulted in a family fleeing from their home .

An application was made to Court on 15 June 2006 and, after adjournments for the defendants to prepare their case, a trial was held which resulted in full injunctions being granted against them and an order that they pay the full costs of the court hearing.

Karen Armitage, Chief Executive at Stafford and Rural Homes said:  "This case is an example of our ability and willingness to carry out independant and effective action to protect our residents.   We promised a firm policy to deal with unnacceptable behaviour on our estates and are making good progress."
