How do I use the Equipment?
All Sheltered Housing accommodation is fitted with communication equipment which allows two way communications between you and the Control Centre staff. 
Pull-cords and a speech module are fitted in each room of the property and are also located in communal areas within the scheme. If you should need assistance at any time, a pull on the cord will connect you to the Control Centre within seconds.
The speech module is only connected when you pull the cord.
When you pull the cord, the Control Centre operator will know who you are and where you live without having to ask you. They will ask how they can help you and will agree with you what action will be taken. For example, if you are unwell, you may want them to contact a family member, doctor, or the emergency services.
