Stafford and Rural Homes

Stafford & Rural Homes Control Centre is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.  The centre provides a range of services to residents and gives reassurance and support, particularly to the elderly and vulnerable.  It is staffed by a caring team who maintain a secure database of the care and medical needs of all customers, so that their reponse to situations when help is needed can be swift and appropriate. Its services include:

• A responsive service through the pull cord system to residents living in both sheltered and warden linked housing.
   
• Emergency connection to the Control Centre for customers with a Lifeline alarm unit and pendant.
   
• Monitoring of a range of sensors for customers receiving the Telecare Service.
   
• Monitoring for customers receiving the Medicine Reminder Initiative.
   
• Out of hours emergency repairs service.
   
• Out of hours contact for Stafford Borough Council’s Homelessness service.
