Stafford & Rural Homes will contribute to the range of advice services available in the Borough by maintaining a High Street presence in Stafford and in Stone town centres, and by enabling access to other services
The Control Centre
Stafford & Rural Homes Control Centre is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. The centre provides a range of services to residents and gives reassurance and support, particularly to the elderly and vulnerable. It is staffed by a caring team who maintain a secure database of the care and medical needs of all customers, so that their reponse to situations when help is needed can be swift and appropriate. Its services include:
- A responsive service through the pull cord system to residents living in both sheltered and warden linked housing.
- Emergency connection to the Control Centre for customers with a Lifeline alarm unit and pendant.
- Monitoring of a range of sensors for customers receiving the Telecare Service.
- Monitoring for customers receiving the Medicine Reminder Initiative.
- Out of hours emergency repairs service.
- Out of hours contact for Stafford Borough Council’s Homelessness service.
