The Major investment programme is being delivered via an estate-based strategy.  This approach draws together the information provided in Stafford and Rurals Stock Condition Survey with the views of tenants and housing professionals in each area about local priorities and the local environment, resulting in investment planning that is inclusive and relevant.  The approach delivers a number of key objectives, which are to:

• Focus investment in a particular area to maximise benefits for tenants
• Ensure effective consultation and involvement of tenants in the investment programme
• Ensure maximum impact on Decent Homes Performance
• Ensure a consistent approach is applied to both rural and urban areas
• Enable the programme to be adapted to meet specific needs in specific areas
• Provide the best economic approach to investment for the contractor and the association

The programme is being driven by a Strategic Parnership and project-based partnership groups, consisting of tenants , staff, Connaught Partnerships (our contractor), and our Quantity Surveyor and Architect consultants.
