Stafford & Rural Homes will maintain a Housing Register for rented housing
The Quality and Design Forum
The Quality and Design Forum (QDF) was formed, through the Tenants and Residents Federation, to act as the major group for consultation on the Estate-based strategy.
About 25 tenants volunteered for the group and undertook a highly successful training and awareness programme from September t December 2005, with the aim that all members would then participate in the Partnerships to drive the Investment Programme contracts from April 2006. Subjects covered include Recruitment skills, Mystery Shopping, Busienss Planning, Partnering and financial awareness.
Tenant representatives now sit on the Strategic Partnership which oversees the whole programme, with others on the Sheltered and Direct Maintenance Partnerships. This represents a significant step forward in tenant participation, with our tenants now represented at the highest levels in the Stafford and Rural Homes delivery structure.
The QDF meets quarterly to exchange good practice ideas and to promote development of the service. New members who wish to be more deeply involved in this way are welcome.
