SARH employees go the egg-stra mile for charity
Kind-hearted staff at Stafford’s leading provider of affordable homes delivered Easter treats to some of the area’s most vulnerable families over the spring holiday.
Earlier this year, employees of Stafford and Rural Homes (SARH) decided they would concentrate their charitable efforts on donating essential items to customers who were struggling to make ends meet, as well as supporting local food banks.
In the run-up to Easter, staff donated over 100 chocolate eggs to provide a welcome surprise for children who would otherwise miss out on this traditional seasonal treat.
Jo Hough, Director of Organisational Development at SARH said: “Alongside our efforts to support the communities we serve by providing vulnerable people with essential items, we thought it would be great to make additional donations around seasonal themes.
“We’ve been delighted at the response to our latest appeal, which included a ‘dress down’ day at work in exchange for an Easter Egg donation, and a big thank you goes to everyone who took part.”
