Senior Contracts Manager
Grade 8 £31,702
37 hours per week • Ref: SCM22

Provide leadership to contract managers, contractors and partners, creating clear strategic priorities, a strong performance management culture and effective implementation plans. Relevant qualifications are essential, with a proven track record in project management and in contractor relationships. A clear grasp of corporate procurement regulations is also important.

Key responsibilities will be to:
• Provide effective leadership of the Contract Manager team ensuring that a performance management culture is consistently implemented for all contracts and providing advice, support and guidance.
• Co-ordinate the contribution of constructor partners/contractors, to deliver agreed programmes of work in a way which protects the interests of SARH and its customers.
• Develop strategic priorities and plans for management and delivery of investment programmes including preparation and control of budgets and ensure their effective implementation.
• Manage contracts with specific reference to ensuring quality, compliance with specification, achievement of specified performance measures, customer focus and costs.
• Supervise and control works carried out to properties by Partners/contractors and to provide data to enable certification of accounts. To provide other reports on a weekly / monthly / annual basis as directed.

Job Description

Maintenance Manager
Grade 7 £27,089 to £29,940

You will ensure the delivery of an efficient, cost-effective, customer-focused operational repairs service. A building-related qualified is required, supported by experience of managing teams and contractors to provide a maintenance service. A commitment to quality, productivity and high standards of customer service are essential.

Key Responsibilities
• To manage and co-ordinate available resources to ensure the delivery of an efficient, cost-effective, customer-focussed operational repairs service, covering responsive and void repairs.
• To assist in the development / implementation of processes for the continuous improvement of the repairs service.
• To assist in the development of improved repairs performance targets, ensuring high standards of quality, productivity and customer service are delivered.
• To provide on site supervision of Tradespersons and Sub-contractors, as designated and to provide managerial support as necessary.

Job description

Project Officer
Grade 7 £27,089 to £29,940 (subject to job evaluation)
37 hours per week • Ref: MM20


You will ensure the delivery of effective and efficient administration and accurate data preparation for our in house repairs service. You will have experience of developing administration processes that will drive improvements in operational performance. A thorough working knowledge of IT systems used to manage property repairs is essential together with experience of managing vehicle fleets.

Key Responsibilities
• To manage and co-ordinate available resources to ensure the effective administration of an efficient, cost-effective, customer-focussed repairs service.
• To co-ordinate the development / implementation of processes for the continuous improvement of the repairs service.
• To assist in the development of IT systems, supporting the repairs service.
• To manage all operational issues with regard to SARH’s vehicle fleet.
• To produce and analyse productivity and performance data; prepare management reports on performance and productivity.
• To provide line-management of Technical Assistants; providing managerial support as necessary.

Job Description

Independent Living Support Visitor
2 x part time – 18 hours 12 month temporary contract
Ref: LIV23
Grade 3 £16,370 to £17,161 pro rata

This role provides a visiting service for our Independent Living customers residing in our decommissioned schemes and the wider community.

We want someone who:
● understands the issues affecting older people living in our communities
● understands the importance of promoting health and well being
● has experience of assessing customers needs to support their independence
● has excellent interpersonal skills
● is able to work independently
● has an understanding of the effectiveness of partnership working.
