Anti-Social Behaviour

The government’s definition of anti-social behaviour (ASB) is ‘conduct which is capable of causing nuisance or annoyance to any person or conduct which consist of or involves using or threatening tio use housing accommodation for an unlawful purpose’

Examples of ASB include:

  • Loud music, shouting, disturbance from parties, excessive noise from TVs and radios etc
  • Intimidation or harassment, aggressive and threatening language, or violent behaviour
  • Litter, graffiti, fly tipping
  • Supplying drugs
  • Dogs barking or animals not kept under control
