Improvement Works

During the first five years following transfer SARH committed to spending£68m on improving homes to meet the government’s Decent Home Standard.  All of our homes now meet this standard.

But the work does not stop there.  We keep up to date information about the condition of homes, which allows us to prioritise the work we will do.  If we are planning to carry out any work on your home, such as fitting a new kitchen or bathroom, we will write to you, telling you what work we will be doing and when this will happen.

Before any work can start we will need to carry out a detailed survey.  We will always give you notice of any work and the choices and options available to you.
