Independent Living Schemes

Independent living is designed for people aged 55 or over.

Accommodation in Independent Living Schemes provides self contained apartments and bungalows.  You have your own front door and are free to come and go as you please. You can have visitors when you want and live your life as you want to.  We encourage you to continue to enjoy the same relationships and support you received from your family and friends as you received before you moved into your new home.

Every scheme has an Independent Living Coordinator.  They are available Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.00pm.

Apartments and bungalows are fitted with special equipment connected to our 24 hour You First – Customer Call Team.  This allows you to speak to a member of our staff any time of the day or night if you require assistance or advice.

Independent Living offers a range of communal facilities where customers can get involved in social activities.
