Ending Your Tenancy

When you want to leave your SARH home you have to give us 28 days notice – this is a condition of your tenancy agreement.

Please contact us on 0800 111 4554 and our Customer Service Centre will take all the details we need for your tenancy to be terminated. If you are joint tenants only one of you needs to give notice and this will end the tenancy for all joint tenants.  The tenancy will end at 12 noon on a Monday.

You must return all keys for your home to us before 12 noon on the Monday on which your tenancy ends.  We will also need to have your new address and a telephone number if you have one.

Please move all your belongings out before returning the keys, clear any rubbish and leave your home in a clean condition and garden tidy.

We will inspect your property during the notice period and you will be charged for any damage that is not due to fair wear and tear.

You are still responsible for the rent during the notice period up until the tenancy ends.
