SELF EMPLOYED non-VAT registered high-quality Electricians with own van and tools are required in Stafford and surrounding areas.

The work involves working in customer’s homes testing and upgrading electrical installations or partial rewires for new kitchens and bathrooms.

Your work will involve working with other subcontractors and all materials are delivered to you on site and rubbish collected leaving you to concentrate on electrical work.

Health and safety are paramount to us so you will always follow our H&S Plan to ensure safety and compliance with CDM regulations.

You will report to our electrical Manager who will review variations or resolve site issues for you.

Using your trade knowledge to endeavour to overcome challenges that may arise and make recommendations.

You will be offered competitive and attractive rates for each job and you will be paid for additional work which is needed.

You will invoice us at the end of each job, each week or each month whichever suits and we will pay you within 14 days of sign off, without chasing payments!

You must have your UTR for the CIS scheme as well as public liability insurance for £5m and hold a current Asbestos Awareness Certificate.

Would you like to support the delivery of our 24-7 lifeline service to our most vulnerable customers whilst being employed by a BEST company that has great engagement and gives back to the community?

We are looking for people with excellent communication skills and a caring and empathetic attitude to join our friendly and supportive team. The roles focus on receiving and responding to multiple calls on a variety of issues. These include emergency calls, requiring timely and appropriate action, and may involve liaising with statutory, voluntary and care agencies to ensure that customer needs are met. The team also provides an out of hours housing repairs service for SARH customers and services for other corporate customers.

If you have demonstrable experience in providing excellent customer service, with knowledge of the needs of vulnerable customers and the availability we are looking for, we'd like to hear from you!

We have permanent opportunities within Customer Call, our response centre:

Daytime Shift 1       £17,525 gross

5 on 3 off rota pattern, working 37.5 hours per week, 46 weeks per year.

This alternates from 6.00am to 2.30pm and 2.00pm to 10.30pm

Daytime Shift 2       £7,010 gross

1 on 4 off, 1 on 2 off rota pattern

This alternates from 6.00am to 2.30pm and 2.00pm to 10.30pm

Night Shift                £17,855 gross

5 on 5 off rota pattern

Working hours of 10.00pm to 8.00am

Out of Hours           £11,257 gross

Fixed weekly hours

Working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 4.45pm to 9.00pm and Saturday 8.00am to 5.00pm
