Children get on the ball with SARH and Stoke City FC
Youngsters in Stafford took part in free football coaching sessions with Stoke City Football Club this Easter.
Stafford and Rural Homes (SARH) teamed up with Stoke City Community Trust to offer three sessions for children aged between five and 12-years-old.
The sessions included games and activities to give children the chance to have fun and learn or develop their football skills. They were even joined by Stoke City FC mascot Pottermus as they were put through their paces.
The project is part of SARH’s community learning programme, which includes 55 free sessions delivered across Stafford Borough throughout the year to help people into employment, improve health and wellbeing and encourage people to meet others or pick up a new skill or hobby.
