Community Benefit Society
SARH is intending to convert from a limited company to a Community Benefit Society (CBS). What is a Community Benefit Society? A CBS is a special type of community benefit not for profit organisation registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). It is a legal structure that retains many of the features of the existing SARH Company but it is simpler. SARH would keep its charitable purpose but would not be registered with the Charities Commission. Also see FAQs attached. Have Your Say   Your feedback is important to us should you wish to tell us anything about this change in our company status. You can let us know your views on this proposal by using this feedback form. Please respond no later than Friday 22nd June so that we may consider your comments. We will consider all feedback. If the change is approved and SARH becomes a CBS, this would take place in Autumn 2018. We will share the results of the consultation and the agreed changes on this website.
