Apprentices building firm foundations for trade careers
Stafford and Rural Homes (SARH) has welcomed the latest cohort to its successful apprenticeship programme.
Over the past few years the housing association has taken on almost 40 apprentices and almost all have found jobs with SARH or other local organisations or businesses after passing their NVQs.

Kind hearts at community group
A Stafford-based community group has been celebrating acts of kindness from family, friends and strangers with the help of the area’s leading provider of affordable homes.
In the run up to World Kindness Day (Wednesday, November 13), members of WhYCH met at the Round House community venue to talk about what it means to be kind and to share their experiences.

Good neighbour award for kind-hearted Avis
Caring for elderly neighbours who need a little extra help around the home has earned Stafford and Rural Homes (SARH) customer Avis Williams a special award from the housing association.
From dropping in to check on the wellbeing of other customers living in a Stafford Independent Living Scheme, to bringing them meals and taking them to appointments, nothing is too much trouble for the winner of this year’s SARH Good Neighbour Award.
