Customer Board to launch SARH’s annual report

Members of the Customer Board and staff from Stafford and Rural Homes are hitting the streets to launch the organisation’s first interactive digital annual report.

An open day will be held from SARH’s mobile office in Market Square, on Tuesday, August 13, from 9am to 4pm.

The event is an opportunity for SARH customers and the wider public to offer feedback to SARH’s Customer Board and staff about the annual report, SARH’s services or any other issues affecting their local community.

“We have organised this event because the theme for our annual report this year is ‘working together’ and this includes getting out and engaging with our customers and the local community,” said Karen Marshall, Head of Governance for SARH.

“It will be a great opportunity for our customers and other people from across Stafford Borough to come and see our new annual report and ask any questions about our services.  We also want to promote the work of our Customer Board.”

For the first time SARH’s annual report will published digitally through SARH’s website and it has been specially designed by creative communications specialists NonConform to be as eye catching and interactive as possible with clickable tabs to each section and links to more information.

“We have decided to publish the report digitally because more and more of our customers and partners are using online sources as the main way to get information,” said Karen Marshall.

“Producing the report digitally is also more cost efficient and environmentally friendly as we have printed far fewer paper reports, although we also understand that there is still a need for hard copies which will be available to any customer who requests one.”
