How do I apply for a home using SARHomes?

To apply for a SARH home you will first need to register on the SARHomes website. In the majority of cases, once you have completed the registration form on SARHomes you will be accepted as a SARH customer and will be able to start applying for homes within 24 hours. There may be some occasions when SARH need to request further information before your registration is accepted. Click here for more information.

Once your registration is confirmed:

• You can log in to SARHomes using the Registration Number you have been provided with.

• Once logged in, you can browse available homes and press Add To Basket to store them in Your Choices list.

• To apply for homes you have saved, go to Your Choices and press the Apply for These Choices button at the foot of the page. Please note: this will submit an application for all homes saved in Your Choices. To remove homes saved in Your Choices, tick the Remove box next to a property, then press the Remove button at the foot of the page.

You can apply for homes between 9.00am on Thursday and 11.59pm on Tuesday each week. All homes which are available for applications are listed on SARHomes during this time.

There are some times when SARH has a selection of homes which are available to let immediately without needing to register. These homes can also be found on the Homes Available Now section of the SARH website.
