What is not defined as a defect?

A defect does not cover cosmetic damage, settlement or shrinkage cracks to your property.

A drainage issue caused by flushing or disposing of unsuitable products is not a defect and can incur a recharge.

Your tenancy agreement gives details of your repair responsibilities. It also includes the repairs that are the responsibility of SARH. For self help guidance, please see our ‘How to’ Videos.
