Ventilating a new build home
Your newly built home needs to be kept well ventilated to allow moisture to evaporate as the structure dries out. It is important that you leave trickle vents open, either permanently or for as long as you can each day.
You should also use the extractor fans in your kitchen and bathroom, especially after these rooms have been used, to allow any moisture to escape. For advice on damp and condensation around your home, click here.
