Open day launches SARH annual report
OVER 100 people came to an open day in Stafford’s Market Square to mark the official launch of Stafford and Rural Homes’ first interactive digital annual report on Tuesday (August 13).
The event was an opportunity for SARH customers and the wider public to offer feedback to SARH’s Customer Board and staff about the annual report, SARH’s services or any other issues affecting their local community.
“The event was very successful and an excellent opportunity to engage with customers and others,” said Karen Marshall, Head of Governance for SARH.
“Topics discussed included the work of the Customer Board, SARH performance, the impact of welfare reforms on customers and home improvement work. The feedback was positive and it was encouraging that many of those we spoke to use the internet regularly and agreed that this was the best way for them to read our annual report.”
For the first time SARH’s annual report has been published digitally through SARH’s website and it has been specially designed by creative communications specialists NonConform to be as eye catching and interactive as possible with clickable tabs to each section and links to more information.
“We have decided to publish the report digitally because more and more of our customers and partners are using online sources as the main way to get information but clearly we remain committed to being open, transparent and accessible to all of our customers and hard copies are available to anyone who requests one,” said Kevin Upton, Chair of SARH.
