SARH gets set for TV Digital switchover

STAFFORD and Rural Homes is upgrading its communal television aerials ahead of the digital switchover.

The move will ensure 1,000 SARH customers are kept in the picture when the digital switchover takes place in the central region.

“We appreciate how important a good television service is to customers who are served by our communal aerials,” said Dave Wilkins, Head of Asset Planning and Development.

“The systems we will be fitting will be of high quality and will offer a choice of free-to-air or subscription services as well as the red button services that so many customers would like to use.”

The two transmitters for the Central region at Wrekin and Sutton Coldfield will switch over in April 2011 and July 2011 respectively.

If you are a Stafford and Rural Homes customer using a communal aerial and want to know how the switchover will affect you, call 0800 111 4554.
