SARH goes for gold
Stafford and Rural Homes (SARH) has retained a Gold Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for its commitment to looking after the safety and welfare of its staff and customers.
It is the second consecutive year that SARH has achieved the award.
Clive Gill, health and safety officer for SARH , said: “To retain this award is a major achievement for SARH and highlights our ongoing efforts to ensure our staff work in a safe and secure environment.
“Our work doesn’t stop here though as we are constantly striving to continue improving our health and safety even further and I hope we are able to retain this award for many years to come.”
The award – based on individual, occupational health and safety performance – required SARH to produce a detailed document which answered 10 key questions on their health and safety management.
This evidence was then assessed by RoSPA against strict judging criteria.
SARH will now be presented with their award at an awards ceremony held at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole Hotel, next to the National Exhibition Centre, in May.
