SARH handover keys to stunning new apartments in Stone
Stafford and Rural Homes has now handed over the keys to excited customers who have now officially moved into their stunning new apartments on Priory Road in Stone.

The new £1.3 million development was officially opened recently by senior representatives from Stafford and Rural Homes, Jessup Build Develop, Stafford Borough Council and the Mayor of Stone with a balloon release.
The development of 2 one bed and 12 two bed apartments on the former garage site will help meet the need for more affordable homes in Stone, especially one and two bedroom apartments.
Stafford and Rural Homes has worked in partnership with Stafford Borough Council who have released land into the site to bring forward the scheme which will help to regenerate the town centre and meet the local housing need.
The project has been supported with £255,000 of Homes and Communities funding secured by Jessup Build Develop who built the apartments which have been built to a high standard and Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3.
Senior representatives from Stafford and Rural Homes, Stafford Borough Council and Jessup Build Develop went along to meet the new residents recently and officially cut the ribbon unveiling the 14 new homes.
Karen Armitage, Chief Executive at Stafford and Rural Homes said, “I am delighted to be giving our customers the keys to the door of their new homes as there has been a real need for this type of accommodation in Stone.
“Stafford and Rural Homes has enjoyed working in partnership with Stafford Borough Council and Jessup Build Develop and I would like to thank them for working with us to make this development a reality.
“I would also like to thank the Mayor of Stone, Councillor Jill Piggott for taking time out of her busy schedule to officially open this new development and I will now leave our customers to enjoy their new homes and hope they are very happy here.”
Clive Jessup, Managing Director at Jessup Build Develop added, “We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to work with Stafford and Rural Homes to provide new apartments for rent on the previously abandoned garage site in Stafford.

Councillor Jill Piggott, Mayor of Stone concluded, “These apartments are in the heart of Stone and the building is wonderful. It is a privilege to work with Stafford and Rural Homes and I must say how proud I am of the development.”
