The new £1.3 million development was officially opened recently by senior representatives from Stafford and Rural Homes, Jessup Build Develop, Stafford Borough Council and the Mayor of Stone with a balloon release.

The development of 2 one bed and 12 two bed apartments on the former garage site will help meet the need for more affordable homes in Stone, especially one and two bedroom apartments.

Stafford and Rural Homes has worked in partnership with Stafford Borough Council who have released land into the site to bring forward the scheme which will help to regenerate the town centre and meet the local housing need.

The project has been supported with £255,000 of Homes and Communities funding secured by Jessup Build Develop who built the apartments which have been built to a high standard and Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3.
