SARH offers top eBay tips
A workshop offering Stafford residents top tips on buying and selling using eBay is being run by a Stafford housing association.
Stafford and Rural Homes (SARH) is inviting people to log on and find out how to set up an eBay account to buy and sell goods using the website, on Wednesday, September 18.
The session, led by Tim Keeling, from Staffordshire County Council’s Adult and Community Learning team, will also teach people how to spot a good seller and avoid losing money.
“Sites like eBay are a great way for people to purchase items online and can be a good way to save money. This session is all about introducing people to the basics and showing them how to enjoy online shopping safely,” said Christine Cartwright, Community Involvement Officer for SARH.
The session will run from 10am to 12pm, at Holmcroft Youth and Community Centre, on Newland Avenue.
The event is being organised as part of SARH’s Community Learning Programme, which includes over 50 free sessions delivered across Stafford Borough throughout the year to help people into employment, improve health and wellbeing, encourage people to meet others or pick up a new skill or hobby.
You can also find the Community Learning Programme on Facebook by searching ‘Community Learning Programme’.
