SARH offers top tips to help your CV shine

Posted on 28th June 2013

JOBSEEKERS looking for advice on how to make a CV stand out from the crowd are being offered top tips from Stafford and Rural Homes (SARH).

SARH has organised a course on ‘How to make your CV stand out’ which will be run by Adult and Community Learning at Staffordshire County Council, at St Michael’s Church Hall, on Lichfield Street, in Stone, on Thursday, July 11.

“Writing a CV can be quite stressful and this course is all about helping those looking for a job or seeking a change in career direction to make their CV grab the attention of potential employers,” said Christine Cartwright.

The course will run from 10am to 1pm.

The event has been organised as part of SARH’s Community Learning Programme, which includes over 50 free sessions delivered across Stafford Borough throughout the year to help people into employment, improve health and wellbeing, encourage people to meet others or pick up a new skill or hobby.

Courses range from Basic Plumbing and a Level 2 Award in Healthier Food and Special Diets to Football Skills and glass painting.

More information on the boot camp sessions and the Community Learning Programme is available on the customer involvement pages of the SARH website sarhomes.wpengine.com

Alternatively please call the Community Involvement Team on 0800 111 4554 or email cp@sarhomes.staging.wpengine.com.
