SARH staff have their cake and eat it for charity
A sale of tasty homemade treats has helped Stafford and Rural Homes raise £224 for Greenhall Nursery and Key Learning Centre on Friday.
SARH staff held a cake sale and donated money for a dress down day to raise the money for the nursery, which provides support for pre-school children with a range of learning and physical disabilities and their families in Stafford.
The nursery is SARH’s nominated charity for 2013-14 and the latest fundraising efforts take the total raised so far to £2059.
“Our staff have really got behind our fundraising efforts for Greenhall Nursery and Key Learning Centre and we’re delighted to have raised such a significant amount of money for a fantastic charity which does great work in the local community,” said Jo Hough, Head of Organisation Development for SARH.
