A weekly club has been set up to help unemployed people in Stafford to find work.
Stafford and Rural Homes’ (SARH) has set up a ‘Job Club’ in partnership with Job Centre Plus at its Community Resource Centre at Greyfriars.
The club is held every Monday providing the opportunity for those looking for work to receive help and advice on writing a strong CV, job hunting and interview skills.
The group also gives people a chance to share job hunting experiences and find out about new employment opportunities.
“Being out of work is an extremely stressful experience and we wanted to do something to help people with the pressures looking for a new a job,” said Pam Smith, Customer Participation Officer for SARH.
“The club is a chance for people in the same situation to come together and talk about their experiences, pick up some tips to boost their employability and find out about any new jobs on offer.”
The job club takes place every Monday from 10am to 12pm.
For more information on the club please contact the SARH Customer Participation Team on 0800 111 4554 or visit the SARH website www.sarh.co.uk.
