Search is on for good neighbours
Residents in and around Stafford are being invited to name members of the community who live in a property managed by Stafford and Rural Homes (SARH) and have dedicated themselves to helping others over the past 12 months.
The housing association is looking for nominations for its popular Good Neighbour Award, with the winner set to be announced during the its Annual General Meeting in September.
The award aims to recognise SARH customers that go the extra mile to help others or develop community spirit.
Karen Armitage, SARH Chief Executive, explained: “The Good Neighbour Award aims to recognise the fantastic efforts made through the year to make Stafford, and the areas served by SARH, a better place to live.
“The awards are open to anyone who lives in a SARH property, and anyone can put forward a nomination. We are looking for a winner who has made a real contribution to the community where they live, or has demonstrated their willingness to put others before themselves.”
The closing date for nominations, which should be sent to Sasha Turnbull at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 0800 111 4554, is Tuesday, September 2.
