Transfer of Walton Grange apartments to SARH
Negotiations are currently underway with Waterloo Housing to purchase Walton Grange apartment complex within Stone Town Centre. The apartments are 3 storey, of traditional brick construction with a pitched roof and comprise of 67 rented properties and 15 leaseholders.
Where are they?
The Walton Grange, Stone development is located in Stone Town Centre, close to the A34 and High Street.

When is the transfer happening?
The transfer will completed on Tuesday 29th March 2016.
What are the immediate arrangements for Walton Grange residents?
SARH has already attended a consultation event with Waterloo Housing and Walton Grange residents.
Residents will be sent a letter from SARH to tell them about a ‘Welcome to SARH Day’ which will be on Monday 7th March.
Key SARH staff will be on-site at Walton Grange throughout the day to welcome customers.
Key staff will be available to answer questions from Walton Grange residents who will be required to sign new SARH tenancy variation agreements. This will transfer their tenancy, with its exsiting terms and conditions from Waterloo Housing to SARH.
Will there be a caretaker on-site?
Waterloo Housing do not currently provide caretaking services on-site. SARH will offer a caretaking service in-line with the existing SARH customer offer.
What happens if a Walton Grange customer requests a transfer?
All transfer requests will be managed in-line with the existing SARH Mutual Exchange transfer procedure.
How will new customer report repairs?
New customers will report repairs through the normal SARH repairs process.
For the first few days after the transfer has been completed SARH repairs staff will be on-site to assist customers with repair issues.
