Further update from the Chief Executive
“Thank you to all those who have contacted Stafford and Rural Homes (SARH) in the light of recent tragic events. We understand your concerns at this difficult time and have noted your questions.
“We expect to receive further questions about fire safety at this time and intend to give answers via this website. We are taking this approach as we believe this information may be of interest to all SARH customers and the wider community. SARH will contact everyone who has been in touch individually to let you know when this advice is available and will not publish names in connection with individual questions.
“SARH takes fire safety very seriously and wishes to assure all customers and residents of Pennycrofts and other high rise SARH accommodation that strict fire safety regulations and safeguards are in place to stop a fire spreading should one ever break out in one of our blocks.
“Further information about fire safety in high rise buildings has been made available by the Fire Service at www.staffordshirefire.gov.uk
“If SARH customers have any further concerns they should contact SARH on 0800 111 4554 which is a 24 hour, seven days a week service.”
